Walter C. Bauknecht III

General Manager

Walter C Bauknecht III was born and raised in Bellaire, Ohio. He is the son of the late Walter C. Bauknecht Jr. and Janet (Carnes) Bauknecht of Bellaire. Skip is a 1976 graduate of Bellaire High School. Upon graduation, he went on to attend Ohio University Eastern. He is also an accredited cremation technician.

As the third generation to pursue a career in the family business, Skip has over 38 years of experience in the funeral industry. After merging with Altmeyer Funeral Home in 2000, he was appointed General Manager of the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes in Bellaire, Shadyside, and Powhatan Point, Ohio and the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home in St.Clairsville, Ohio. 

Skip currently resides in Bellaire with his wife Patty (Giffin) Bauknecht and his daughter Sara. In addition, he has been actively involved in his community through volunteering for several organizations throughout the Ohio Valley, and his extracurriculars include golfing, bowling, and spending quality time with his family.

Mike Sigler

General Manager
Funeral Director

Mike Sigler is the General Manager and a Funeral Director for the Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory. Mike began his career in the funeral service industry in 1985. He is a graduate of Beaver Local High School High School, Class of 1969, Kent State University and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.

Mike is a member of the Calcutta Volunteer Fire Department; President & Trustee, Potter Area Chapter of American Red Cross; Past Chapter Chairman, Southern Columbiana County United Way; Past President & Campaign Chairman, East Liverpool Rotary; President, Columbiana County Memorial Park; Advisory Board, Calcutta Area Chamber of Commerce; Board Member & Past President, St. Clair Township Progress Council, St. Clair Township Travel & Tourism, Masonic Lodge 565 and Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville.

Mike is also a member of the Columbiana County Funeral Directors Association and Ohio State Funeral Directors Association. He resides in Calcutta, Ohio with his wife Beth Susan Popejoy Sigler. They have two children; Josh and Chris Sigler.




Jay A. Beck

Funeral Director

Jay Beck is the Funeral Service Manager for the Beck-/Altmeyer Funeral. He graduated from St. Clairsville High School and attended Ohio Northern University and Point Park College in Pittsburgh, PA. Jay graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1969 and returned to St. Clairsville.

Jay has been working as a licensed Funeral Director at the Beck Funeral Home since 1969. In 1989 he purchased the funeral home from his family and continued to provide service to the St. Clairsville community. In 1998, the Beck Funeral Home merged with the Altmeyer Funeral Home where Jay continues to serve families as General Manager and Funeral Director.

Jay is very active in his community, with memberships in the St. Clairsville Lion's Club, St. Clairsville Masonic Lodge, Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, St. Clairsville High School Education and Athletic Boosters, American Legion 159, Ohio Valley Christian Soldiers, former Bank Board Member of Belmont Bank Corp. and Thoburn United Methodist Church.

Jay is a life long resident of St. Clairsville, OH residing with his wife, Trudy. He enjoys golfing, boating, fishing, and especially his children and grandchildren.




Debbie Koffel

Funeral Director/Embalmer

Debbie Koffel is a Funeral Director and Embalmer for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, Wellsville Chapel. Debbie is a graduate of East Liverpool High School, attended Kent State University and is a 1972 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is licensed in Ohio as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. She joined the Martin-Altmeyer staff in 1992 as a Pre-arrangement Counselor. She started the After Care program at the Martin Chapel and the MacLean Chapel. In 1996, she was appointed the Manager of the MacLean Chapel in Wellsville, Ohio. Debbie is also the Chief Investigator for the Columbiana County Coroner's Office.

Debbie is a member & past President of Columbiana County Funeral Directors Association; Ohio State Funeral Directors Association; and Ohio Embalmers Association. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Calcutta, Sons of Italy # 657; Salvation Army Advisory Board; Past President of Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce, East Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, Calcutta Area Chamber of Commerce; Co-Chair of Day of Thanks-Day of Giving; Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 66 and the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association.

She resides in East Liverpool and has a son, Mike Tice, who also resides in East Liverpool. Debbie enjoys reading, listening to music, working outdoors, playing with her cats and spending time with her Dad & family.




Jay Morgan

Funeral Director

Jay Morgan is a Funeral Director for Bauknecht-Altmeyer and Beck Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory. He has been affiliated with the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home since 1978. Jay is a 1975 graduate of Shadyside High School and attended Ohio University Eastern. Jay graduated with honors, in 1980, from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in Ohio and West Virginia. He is a licensed Life Insurance agent in Ohio and West Virginia.

Jay is active in his community. He is a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church Shadyside, Ohio, the Ohio Embalmers Association, Ohio Funeral Directors Association, president of the Shadyside High School Alumni Association. He is a member of the Shadyside Chamber of Commerce, Moundsville Rifle & Pistol Club, Inc. and the Knights of Columbus.

Jay was born in Bellaire, Ohio and raised in Shadyside, Ohio. He is the son of Charles "Shorty" and Jean (Keyser) Morgan. Jay and his wife Sandee (Lucki) Morgan reside in Shadyside, Ohio with their three children, Lucas, Ethan and Olivia.

Robert N. Bell

Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory

Bob Bell has served as a Funeral Director for the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory since 1971. He graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in March of 1969. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania and a licensed life insurance agent in Ohio.

Bob is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Ohio Funeral Directors Association. He served on the first customer advisory council of the Forethought Life Insurance Company. He is a member and past president of the Bellaire Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bellaire Lions Club. Other memberships include the Bellaire Presbyterian Church, Ionic Lodge 438 F & AM, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Steubenville, Shadyside Athletic Boosters and the Shadyside American Legion Post 521.

Bob enjoys playing golf and is an avid fan of NASCAR. He resides in Shadyside wife his wife, Michele McGee Bell and two children, Neal and Hilary.




Drew R. Seabright

Funeral Director

Drew R. Seabright is a Funeral Director with the Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Powhatan Point Chapel. Drew attended West Liberty State College and graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1979, and holds dual licenses with West Virginia and Ohio.

Drew was born and raised in Wheeling, WV, son of Wilbur "Bud" and Leanna Richard Seabright. Following in his fathers footsteps as a Funeral Director with the McCoy Funeral Home, Drew was affiliated with Gibson McCoy for 18 years and worked at the Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Home since 1991.

Drew is an active member of Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church and has been a member of the Wheeling Lions Club since 1984, where he served as president in 1989.

Drew resides in Wheeling with his wife Karen Langmyer Seabright and has 2 grown daughters, Claire and Anne.




Matthew Watson

Funeral Director

Matthew Watson is a Funeral Director and Embalmer for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory. Matthew is a graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 2000 and from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2006. In 2007 he completed his education by earning a Bachelors of Science Degree in Specialized Funeral Service and a Minor in Psychology from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. He is licensed in Ohio as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. He joined the Martin MacLean Altmeyer staff in 2005 as a Funeral Attendant. He completed his apprenticeship in 2008.

Matthew is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop #41 in East Liverpool, serving as Committee Chairman and Assistant Scoutmaster. Matthew is also a special projects coordinator at Thompson Park for the Circle of Lights event. He is also a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in East Liverpool.

He resides in East Liverpool with his wife Brenda Watson. They have two children, twin daughters Cadence and Chloe.

He also enjoys playing drums, spending time with his family and going on backpacking trips.




Hillary Glasser

Apprentice

Hillary Glasser joined the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home in 2003 while studying to be a funeral director and embalmer. She is currently employed as an Ohio registered apprentice while studying to obtain her Ohio Funeral Directors and Embalmers Licenses.

Hillary is a 2003 graduate of Shadyside High School. She attended Muskingum College and is a 2007 graduate from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and a 2008 graduate from Point Park University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Funeral Services.

Hillary was born in Wheeling, WV. She was raised in Shadyside, Ohio where she is an active member of the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church. She is the daughter of Marty Horvath and Lori (McFarland) Horvath.

Hillary and her husband Kurt Glasser reside in Shadyside, Ohio.




William Frasher

Funeral Attendant

Bill Frasher has been a Funeral Attendant at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home since 2004. He is a retired police chief.

Bill is a Belmont County 911 Board member. He enjoys history and reading.





William Porterfield

Funeral Attendant

William (Bill) Porterfield has been a Funeral Attendant with Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home since 2003. Bill earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management and Education from Ashland University.

Bill is a member of the American Legion and the Bethesda Sportsmen's Club. He enjoys fishing, hunting, golf and his grandchildren.




Joseph Campbell

Funeral Attendant

JoJo Campbell, Sr. is a Funeral Attendant for the Bellaire Chapel. He is a graduate of Bellaire High School and has been with the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home since 2005.

JoJo is a former mayor of the City of Bellaire, Ohio. JoJo has spent many years helping with little league baseball and volunteering for the American Legion. He is a life member of Lights for Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Ionic Lodge 438, and Kiwanis.

Joseph enjoys sports and helping people most of all. He also works for the Neffs Fire Department when needed.




JoAnn Dietrich

Receptionist

JoAnn Dietrich is a part-time receptionist for the Powhatan Point Chapel and has been with the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home since 2004. JoAnn is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned her Masters degree from the University of Dayton.

JoAnn is a retired school teacher having served the Switzerland of Ohio School District since 1972. She is a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Powhatan Point, Ohio.

JoAnn resides in Powhatan Point with her husband Don and has 3 grown children, Kriss, Wesley, and Katie. She is also the proud grandmother of 6 handsome grandsons. She loves to camp at Seneca Lake and enjoys reading and bowling.




Andy Dobson

Cremation Manager

Andy Dobson is Cremation Manager and has been with the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes since 2000.

Andy is a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and is a Certified Cremation Technician. He serves as an instructor for CANA (Cremation Association of North America).

Andy resides in Martins Ferry with his wife Kathleen and beautiful daughter, Lacey.




Rosalind Fitch

Receptionist / Hair Dresser

Rosalind Fitch is a part-time Receptionist for the Bellaire Chapel. She has been with the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home since 1999. She is a graduate of the Steubenville School of Cosmotology.

Rosalind is a member of St. John's Church, Sons of Italy, Catholic Women's Club and St. John's Liturgy Committee. She is also an organist for her church.

Rosalind loves music and singing. She enjoys crossword puzzles and taking care of her elderly mother. She also enjoys spending time with family and her 3 grown sons, Doug, Greg and Jason.




Anna Johnson

Receptionist

Anna Johnson is a part-time receptionist for the Powhatan Point and Bellaire Chapels. She has been with the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes since January of 2001.

Anna graduated from Shadyside High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Ohio University and a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Salem International University.

Anna is the Powhatan Point Public Library branch manager and enjoys reading, scrap booking and camping.




Dee Mullett

Receptionist

Dolores "Dee" Mullett is a part-time Receptionist for the Shadyside Chapel. She has been with the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home since August, 1995.

Dee has been a secretary and treasurer for various community organizations. She has been a lifelong member of the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church. Dee is also a member of the Order of Easter Star Chapter #581, L.A.U.M. Church Choir and the Church Board of Trustees. She is also a volunteer for the Belmont Community Hospital, Bellaire, Ohio.




Jerry Olack

Funeral Assistant / Cremation Technician

Jerry Olack is a Funeral Assistant and Cremation Technician for the Bellaire Chapel. He has been with the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes since 1975.

Jerry currently serves as councilman for the Village of Bellaire. He is a member of the Neffs Fire Department and is currently head of the EMS operations. Jerry is a retired Assistant Fire Chief for the City of Bellaire, a member of the Ohio State Firemen's Association, Ohio Professional Firemen's Retirement Association and a lifetime member of the Bellaire High School Alumni Association.

Jerry is a lifelong resident of Bellaire, Ohio where he resides with his wife Lynette Richardson Olack. He enjoys gardening, golfing, and traveling.




Bob Rankin

Funeral Attendant

Bob Rankin is a part-time Funeral Attendant for the Bellaire Chapel. Robert is a member and Eucharistic Minister of St. John Catholic Church and has worked with the Lions Club of Bellaire, Ohio.

Bob enjoys working outdoors and playing music. He has played the Pedal Steel Guitar for over thirty years and has been a member of various local bands throughout that time. He resides in Bellaire, Ohio with his wife Joanne.




Arleen Sabatino

Office Assistant

Arleen Sabatino is the Office Assistant for the Bellaire, Shadyside and Powhatan Point Chapels. She has been a staff member of the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes since 2001.

Arleen is a graduate of Bellaire High School, attends St. John Catholic Church, a member of the Bellaire Alumni Association and the Bellaire Band Boosters.

Arleen is a lifelong resident of Bellaire, Ohio where she resides with her husband Frank "Chub" Sabatino and son Andrew. She enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.




Sue Skrabak

Office Manager

Sue Skrabak is the Office Manager for the Bellaire, Shadyside and Powhatan Point Chapels. She has been with the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes since 1999.

Sue is a lifelong resident of Bellaire, Ohio and is a graduate of Bellaire High School. She is a member of St. John Catholic Church, Bellaire High School Alumni Association and Past Supreme President of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority.

Sue was born and raised in Bellaire and enjoys walking, spending time with nieces and nephews and attending Bellaire sporting events.




Fred Ullom

Funeral Director Assistant

Fred Ullom is a Funeral Director Assistant for the Bauknecht-Altmeyer and Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory. He began his career with the funeral home in 1999. Fred graduated from Bridgeport High School and the Ohio Police Officer Training School. He is a retired Bellaire Police Officer, serving his community for 25 years.

Fred has served in the US Army and Reserves, Bellaire City Council and is a Habitat for Humanity Board member.

Fred enjoys movie collecting, helping under-priveleged children and senior citizens, vacationing at the beach with his grandchildren, bus trips to various tourists locations, fishing, golfing, and hanging out at the Neffs Fire Department. He resides in Bellaire with his wife Linda.




Dorothy Vellalonga

Receptionist

Dorothy Vallelonga is a part-time receptionist for the Bellaire Chapel. Dorothy has been with the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes since 1992. She is a Graduate of St. John Catholic School.

Dorothy is a member of the St. John Alumni Association and St. Mary's Church in Shadyside, Ohio. She enjoys playing Bunco, crossword puzzles, reading mysteries and spending time with family and friends.




Janet Bauknecht

Receptionist

Janet Bauknecht is a part time receptionist for the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home, Bellaire Chapel. She is a lifelong resident of Bellaire, Ohio and a graduate of Bellaire High School. She also attended Fairfax Hall College in Waynesboro, Virginia.

Janet began her funeral home career with the Bauknecht Funeral Home in 1944, right after graduating high school. She joined the Bauknecht family in 1946 after marrying Walter C. Bauknecht, Jr. Together, with their 5 children, they managed the funeral home for over 50 years.

Janet is an active member of the Bellaire Presbyterian Church serving as an Elder and past president of the Delta Chapter, Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority. She is also past president of Bellaire Child Guidance and the former Bellaire Hospital Auxiliary.

In her spare time, Janet enjoys playing Bridge, bowling and reading.




Rick Johnson

Funeral Attendant

Rick Johnson is a Funeral Attendant for the Bellaire and Powhatan Point Chapels. Rick has been with the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory since 2003.

Rick is a graduate of Powhatan Point High School and the Ohio University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Rick is the Treasurer and past President of the Powhatan Alumni Association and secretary of the V.F.W. Men's Auxiliary, Post 5565, Powhatan Point, Ohio. He enjoys golf and camping.




Chuck Davis

Funeral Director Assistant

Chuck is a Funeral Director Assistant with the Bellaire Chapel. Chuck is a graduate of Bellaire High School. He has attended Ohio University Eastern and Belmont Technical College in Belmont, Ohio. He is a Certified Cremation Technician. He has been with the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home since 2004.

Chuck enjoys volunteering for several different civic functions, is a motorcycle enthusiast, plays the drums and guitar and enjoys reading. He resides in Powhatan Point, Ohio with his wife Kim.




Jacki Knight

Receptionist

Jacki Knight is a part-time receptionist for the Bellaire and Powhatan Point Chapels. She has been with the funeral home since 1996, previously working for Northwood Health Systems business office.

Jacki is a graduate of Powhatan High School, a member of the Powhatan High School Alumni and St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

Jacki enjoys knitting, reading, and walking for exercise. She is a lifelong resident of Powhatan Point where she resides with her husband Dennis. They have one daughter, Tiffani.




Kristy Briggs

Custodian

Kristy Briggs is a custodian at the Bellaire Chapel of Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory. She has been an owner/operator of a cleaning business since 1992.

Kristy is a graduate of Bellaire High School. She enjoys walking, hiking and spending time with her family.




Jack VanHorne

Funeral Attendant

John VanHorne is a Funeral Attendant and has been with the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home since 1996. He is retired from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

John has been a member of the American Legion since 1985. He is also a member of Ohio Valley Christian Soldiers, Belmont Hills Country Club and the El Tor Grotto. John is also a Mason. He enjoys clock repair and golfing.




Patricia Taylor

Office Manager / Secretary

Pat Taylor is the Office Manager and Secretary for the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home. She has been on staff since 1998. Before coming to Beck-Altmeyer, she worked at various locations in the banking industry.

Pat is an avid reader and enjoys home decorating, antiquing, her dogs and spending time with her family. Pat resides in St. Clairsville with her husband Scott.




Geno Sessi

Funeral Attendant

Geno Sessi is a Funeral Attendant for the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home. He joined our staff in 2003. Geno is a graduate of St. Clairsville High School and attended the University of Iowa and Ohio State University.

Geno is a member of the American Legion, Belmont Hills Country Club and the St. Clairsville High School Alumni Association. He enjoys golf and cooking.




John McCraken

Funeral Attendant

John McCraken is a Funeral Attendant with the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home. He has been with the funeral home since 1998. John is retired from the United States Parcel Service (UPS).

John is a member of the Thoburn Methodist Church of St. Clairsville, Ohio. He enjoys repairing vacuum cleaners and sewing machines, fishing and garage sale shopping.




Trudy Beck

Funeral Attendant

Trudy Beck is a Funeral Attendant for the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory. She has been a part of the funeral industry since 1971 after uniting in marriage with her husband Jay Beck.

Trudy is a member and previous part time secretary of the Thoburn United Methodist Church. She is also a member of the Tuesday Nite Club of St. Clairsville, Ohio; a member of the Red Devil Mom's Booster Club and of TWIG.

Trudy resides in St. Clairsville, Ohio with her husband Jay. She enjoys boating, fishing, hicking, walking the bike trail and spending time with her children and grandchildren.




George Pat May

Funeral Attendant

Pat May has been a Funeral Attendant for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory since 1992. He is a Barber and a former Car Salesman. Pat is a graduate of Wells High School, Class of 1944.

Pat is a member of First United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 374.

Pat resides in East Liverpool, Ohio with his wife Barb May. They have four children. He enjoys woodworking.




Paul Metrovich

Funeral Attendant

Paul Metrovich has been a Funeral Attendant for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory since 2003. He is a former teacher and principal in Beaver Local School District. Paul is a graduate of East Liverpool High School, Class of 1958. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Youngstown State University and his Masters in Education from Kent State University.

Paul is a member of the Calcutta Lions Club, St. Clair Township Travel & Tourism Assocaition, St. Clair Township Progress Council and Beaver Local Athletic Hall of Fame.

Paul resides in Calcutta, Ohio with his wife Linda. They have three children and four grandchildren.




Marianne Wolf

Office Manager

Marianne Wolf is the Office Manager for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, Calcutta, East Liverpool and Wellsville Chapels. She began her career in the funeral service industry in 1998. She is a graduate of East Liverpool High School.

Marianne is a member and President of the East Liverpool Kiwanis Club, Past Treasurer of the Tri-State Pottery Festival, a member of Colloquium Study Club, First Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Past President of Women in the Church (WIC), taught Sunday School for several years and is a member of the Memory Lane Dance Club.

Marianne resides in East Liverpool, Ohio with her husband Ron Wolf. They have two children; Ronald M. and Nicole Wolf and Deborah S. & Clyde Eberhardt; three grandchildren. She enjoys reading, relaxing on the beach and spending time with her grandkids.




Barry Arbaugh

Funeral Attendant

Barry Arbaugh has been a Funeral Attendant with Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes since 2002. Barry served with the US Army from 1957-1960 and was the former fire chief of Wellsville, Ohio

Barry is a member of Bethel United Presbyterian Church; CHVA; Ohio River Region Chapter CHVA; Contemporary Historical Vehicle Association; SPAAMFAA (Society Presentation Appreciation Antique Motor Fire Apparatus of America; Wellsville Historical Society and a member of the Wellsville Library Board.

Barry's hobbies are collecting old pictures and military memorabilia. At one time he collected fire department memorabilia. He resides in Wellsville, Ohio with his wife, Erla Wolfe Arbaugh. They have two children; Beth Lynn Arbaugh and Amy Ann and her husband John Nicholson of East Canton, Ohio. They are also the proud grandparents of two grandchildren.




Jack Babb

Funeral Attendant

Jack Babb has been a Funeral Attendant for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory since November, 2005. Jack is a graduate of East Liverpool High School and attended Kent State University. He is a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam era.

Jack is a lifetime member of the East Liverpool Area Jaycees; a Little League Baseball Coach for 10 years and a member of the American Legion.

Jack resides at Guilford Lake, Ohio with his wife Sandra Smith Babb. They have two sons: John and Jeffrey; one grandchild and Daughter-in-law, Lorinda. He enjoys golf, fishing, hunting & gardening.




Laurie Brennen

Laurie Brennen is the Office Manager for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, East Liverpool Chapel. Laurie is a graduate of East Liverpool High School and attended Kent State University.

Laurie is a member of St. Aloysius Community Parish. She is a parent volunteer at St. Aloysius School and also does fundraising for school.

Laurie resides in East Liverpool, Ohio with her husband Matt and two daughters; Haley and Hannah. She enjoys reading, spending extra time with her girls and camping.




Eugene "Bud" Ceneviva

Bud Ceneviva has been a Funeral Attendant for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory since 2001. He is retired from UPS.

Bud is a member of Immaculate Conception Church; Ohio Athletic Association; Sons of Italy #657; Hammond Park Commission; Wellsville Alumni Association: Chairman of the Italian Festival in Wellsville and Hammond Park Ballfield.

He resides in Wellsville, Ohio with wife Lisa Brookes Ceneviva. Together, they have six children.

Howard is a graduate of East Liverpool High School, Class of 1947 and resides in East Liverpool, Ohio with his wife Shirley Roach Gibbs. They have four children; Libby Deem, Gary & Cynthia Gibbs, Scott & Mildred Gibbs & Cindy & Ronald Woodyard; five grandchildren & five great grandchildren.




Virgil "Butch" Hawksworth

Butch Hawksworth has been a Funeral Attendant for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory since 1998. He is a former employee for General Motors, Lordstown Plant.

Butch is a graduate of Wellsville High School, Class of 1954, a member of Bethel United Presbyterian Church and a member of its choir. He is currently an elder and past trustee.

Butch resides in Wellsville, Ohio with his wife Donna Buzzard Hawksworth. They have three children: Kirk Allen Hawksworth, Kevin Hawksworth & Lori & Jeff Frye; and two grandchildren. He enjoys working outdoors, working on machinery, hunting, gardening and 4-wheeling.




James Hitt

Jim Hitt has been a Funeral Attendant for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory since 2003. He is a graduate of Wellsville High School, Class of 1956.

Jim is a member of First United Methodist Church of Wellsville where he is active and has held all positions including lay leader. He is also a member of the North American Hunting Club; Wellsville Historical Society and Columbiana County Fish & Game Association.

Jim resides in Wellsville, Ohio with his wife, Rosemary Cline Hitt. They have three children; Mike Hitt, Charissa Nagy and Jeremy Hitt; and four grandchildren. He enjoys gardening, hunting, fishing, working on outdoor power equipment and shooting sports.




Danial MacLean

Funeral Director

Daniel MacLean is a Funeral Director for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory. Daniel has been a licensed funeral director in State of Ohio for over 50 years. He is the former owner of the MacLean Funeral Home. He is a graduate of Wellsville High School, Class of 1947, Kent State University and graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1951. He served with the US Army in Korea from 1951-1954.

Daniel is a member of the Ohio Embalmers Association, Columbiana County Funeral Directors Association and the Ohio State Funeral Directors Association. He is also a member of the Wellsville Historical Society; President and trustee of the Wellsville Library; member of Friends of the Old Fire Station, Past President and Secretary of the Tri-State Tour Riders; Korean War Veterans Chapter 126, Life member of the 2nd Infantry Division Alliance; and member of the Riverside Presbyterian Church where he was former deacon and elder. Daniel also mans the concessions stand at all Wellsville Baseball home games.

Daniel resides in Wellsville, Ohio with his wife Joanne Fitzsimmons MacLean. They have three children: Karen MacLean, Dan "Skip" MacLean, and Heather Hitt; and three grandchildren. He enjoys reading, riding motorcycles and traveling.




Joanne MacLean

Former Owner

Joanne MacLean, along with her husband Dan, are the former owners of MacLean Funeral Home. She was a part of the funeral home industry beginning in 1967. She is a graduate of East Liverpool High School as well as Kent State University.

Joanne is a member of the Wellsville Historical Society, Tri State Tour Riders, East Liverpool Duplicate Bridge, Wellsville Library Book Club, Riverside Presbyterian Church where she is former elder and Primary Sunday School teacher, RSVP program and mans the concessions stand at all Wellsville Baseball homegames.

Joanne resides in Wellsville, Ohio with her husband, Daniel N. MacLean. They have three children; Karen MacLean, Dan "Skip" MacLean and Heather Hitt; and three grandchildren. She enjoys reading, playing bridge.




Virgil Marrelli

Funeral Attendant

Virgil Marrelli has been a Funeral Attendant for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory since 1987. He was a meat cutter and retired from the former Billingsley Super Market.

Virgil is a member of BPOE Lodge # 258 and Sons of Italy Lodge # 657. He resides in East Liverpool, Ohio with his wife Florence Gentile Marrelli. They have two children; Joe Marrelli and Mike Marrelli, and several grandchildren. Virgil enjoys Golf & Bocce.




Edward Martin

Ed is a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church where he participates in the Last Supper re-enactment. He also served for more than 25 years as a scout leader.

Ed resides in East Liverpool, Ohio. He has three children and enjoys gardening.

Jack is a Past Exalted Ruler BPOE Lodge #258, Past District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler Ohio Southeast District, Past District Treasurer, Treasurer of the VFW Post 66 Men's Auxiliary, and a member of the Sons of Italy Lodge # 657.

Jack resides in East Liverpool, Ohio with his wife, Jean Wycoff Maxwell. They have four daughters; Sondra Maxwell, Kimberly Wilson, Marianne Bozek and Jane Lynn Creese; one son; David Maxwell; six grandchildren. He enjoys golf, bowling and watching sports on TV. Barbara May has been the Hostess for the Hospitality Center at Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, East Liverpool Chapel, since 2003 She is a graduate of East Liverpool High School, Class of 1955.


Barbara is a member of the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association and First United Methodist Church. She resides in East Liverpool, Ohio with her husband, G. Pat May. They have three sons and she enjoys her computer.




Marion L. Perkins

Funeral Attendant

Marion Perkins has been a Funeral Attendant for Martin-MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory since 2002. He is a former Police Officer and Chief of East Liverpool Township Police Dept. Marion is a graduate of East Liverpool High School and Jefferson Technical College (Police Academy).

Marion is a Probation Officer for the East Liverpool Municipal Court, a member of the Calcutta Rotary, First Free Methodist Church, Thompson Park Board, Elks Lodge #258, Masonic Temple (Riddle Lodge) FCI Elkton (Community Relations Board) and the FOP #88
