Eugene T. Fahey
Vice President and General Manager
Gene Fahey is the Vice-President and General Manager of the Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory. He is a life long resident of the Wheeling area and resides in Elm Grove along with his son Jamie, his wife Stepanie and granddaughter Rylie. He received his Bachelors Degree from West Liberty State College and then graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.
Gene is a member of St. Joseph Cathedral Parish in Wheeling. He is also a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #504, Wheeling . He is past President of the Wheeling Serra Club, past president of the Wheeling Circus Saints and Sinners, Poodles and Hanneford Tent where he continues to serve as National Director, past president of the West Virginia Board of Funeral Service Examiners serving from 1998 through 2006, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Elm Grove, Aerie 1891, the Wheeling Elks, BPOE #28, Wheeling, The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Wheeling, the Fraternal Order of Police Association, Wheeling, the Elm Grove Business Council, the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association where he served as past president of the Northern District, the National Funeral Directors Association, the Wheeling Lions Club, the Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce where he completed the Leadership Wheeling Program, Wheeling Country Club, the Elm Grove Civics , and the IOLA Club of Wheeling and the Gyro Club of Wheeling. He was elected to the Board of Directors of Family Services of the Upper Ohio Valley. Gene was elected in May 2008 to Wheeling City Council where he represents the 6th ward of Wheeling and also serves as Vice-Mayor of the City of Wheeling. He also serves on the city's Development and Finance committee's. He is a member of the Greater Wheeling Sports & Entertainment Authority, the Wheeling National Heritage Area Corporation, the Regional Economic Development Partnership (REDP) and the former Ohio County Coroner serving from 2002-2008. In 2011, Gene was selected as the Grand Chieftan of the Wheeling Celtic Festival.
Gene began his career in Funeral Service at Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory in 1984. He is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Richard W. Clark
Funeral Service Manager
Rick, his wife Debbie and their three children, live in the Warwood section of Wheeling. A lifelong resident of Wheeling, Rick began his career in funeral service with the Altmeyer family in 1974. He graduated with honors from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1977 and is licensed as a funeral director in both West Virginia and Ohio. In addition to his involvement with Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Rick is president of Trial Graphics, a Claysville Pennsylvania based graphic design firm.
Rick is very active on both the state and local levels.

E. Patrick Philipps
Pat Philipps graduated from Bishop Donahue High School and received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science Degrees from West Virginia University. He is also a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, and has been a licensed funeral Director in West Virginia since 1975. Pat is a life-long resident of Marshall County, a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Glen Dale, West Virginia, where he serves as St. Jude Park Commissioner. He is a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Father Flanigan Council #1907 and a fourth degree member of the Msgr. M.J. Coghlan Assembly, #1430, past President of the Moundsville Rotary, a member of the Wheeling Elks, Moundsville Eagles Aerie No. 49, West Virginia Snake Club, Wheeling, and is also a member of the West Virginia Funeral Director's Association and the National Funeral Director's Association.
Pat is married to Marianne Philipps and has three children: Lance, Laura, and Lianna.

Stephen M. Jasko, lll
Vice President and Funeral Director
Stephen is the Vice-President of the Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory of West Virginia. A graduate of Brooke High School, he attended West Liberty State College, and in 1999, graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He began his career in funeral service at the age of 17, at the Reasner Funeral Home, in his hometown of Wellsburg, W.Va. He joined the Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory family in 2000, and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in West Virginia.
Stephen is a member of St. Michael Parish, Wheeling; a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Carroll Council #504, Wheeling; and a member of the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association and National Funeral Directors Association. In addition, he is a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1891, Elm Grove; the Sons of the American Legion, Post #1, Wheeling; the American Legion Riders; and is a life member of the National Rifle Association.
Stephen resides in Elm Grove with his wife, Rosslynne Eve (Julio), and their children, Paige Elizabeth & Parker Alexander.
John J. Lane is a resident of St. Clairsville, OH. After graduating from Wheeling Central Catholic High School, John graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree from West Liberty State College in 1989. He is a 1991 graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, and is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
John is President of the Northern District of the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association, a member of the St. Clairsville Knights of Columbus, St. Mary's Catholic Church, and Past President of the Wheeling Lion's Club.
John and his wife Jennifer have two sons, Justin and David.
In 1966, Bob Cilles began his career by working his first two summers of college at the Altmeyer Funeral Homes. Since then, he served his internship with the Kepner Funeral Homes where we was employed for eighteen years and most recently returned to the Altmeyer organization after working at the Wilson Funeral Homes in Bridgeport, Ohio for twenty years.
Bob is a St. Clairsville High School graduate, received his B.A. from Ohio Northern University at Ada, Ohio and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1972. While employed in West Virginia, he served two terms as past secretary-treasurer for the Northern District of the W. Va. Funeral Directors Association. Bob is a member and trustee of Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church in Wheeling where he also serves as Acolyte Master, Chalicebearer and Layreader. He is also a board member of Faith In Action, Caregivers, Inc.
Bob and his wife, Mary Ruth, have lived in Wheeling for the past thirty years. Bob enjoys working his flower gardens and especially likes to devote his time to church work, particularly his work as Acolyte Master for the past 27 years, planning pilgrimages with his acolytes to the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC every four years for West Virginia Day at the Cathedral.
He has devoted all of his working career to funeral service and deems his work to be his ministry to people in a time of particular need.
Eric L. Shields joined the Altmeyer Funeral Home in 2006 working primarily as an embalmer part time until 2008, when he became a full time member of the staff. Eric is a 1994 graduate of Ohio University, Athens with a Baccalaureate degree in Exercise Physiology and a 1995 graduate of The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Upon completion of his mortuary science education, he began his career in funeral service with the Schoedinger Funeral Homes in Columbus where he was employed as a funeral director / embalmer for their Hilltop and State Street Chapels.
Born and raised in Harrisville, Ohio, Eric is the son of Charles and Dolly Shields. He is the father of daughter Alexa and son Logan. In 1997, Eric became affiliated with the Wilson Funeral Homes where he was embalmer/funeral director, pre-arrangement counselor as well as manager of their Dillonvale branch.
An avid sports and outdoor enthusiast, Eric enjoys many activities including hunting and motocross racing, and is a die hard Steeler’s fan. He is the owner of Sketch Motorsports of Harrisville, specializing in four wheelers, street and dirt bikes.
Drew R. Seabright
Drew R. Seabright is a Funeral Director with the Altmeyer Funeral Home. Drew attended West Liberty State College and graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1979, and holds dual licenses with West Virginia and Ohio.
Drew was born and raised in Wheeling, WV, son of Wilbur "Bud" and Leanna Richard Seabright. Following in his father’s footsteps as a Funeral Director with the McCoy Funeral Home, Drew was affiliated with W. Gibson McCoy for 18 years and worked at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home in Bellaire, from 1991 until 2011, when he returned to Wheeling to work at the Altmeyer Funeral Home.
Drew is an active member of Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church. Drew resides in Wheeling with his wife Karen Langmyer Seabright and has 2 daughters, Claire Bermudez and her husband Caleb, Anne Seabright, and 2 grandaughters; Lydia and Elena Bermudez.
Melissa (Anthony) Siebieda is the Administrative Assistant to the Chairman, President, and Vice President of Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory of West Virginia. Melissa was born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia where she and her three children (Madison, Chance, and Gage) reside in Warwood. Melissa and her children are members of Corpus Christi Catholic Parish in Wheeling.
Melissa is a graduate of Wheeling Park High School. Upon graduating in 1982, she relocated to Long Beach, California where she pursued a paralegal career with Brizendine Law Firm. She continued her education at Long Beach Community College on a part-time basis before moving back to Wheeling to start a family. Her administrative training and expertise in the legal field prepared her for the consideration and detail required for working in the Funeral Service industry when she began working at Altmeyer Funeral Homes in August 1999.
Melissa remains active in the community through her involvement with charitable events through the Ohio County parochial schools system where her three children attend. Her hobbies include softball, roller blading and watching her children's various sport activities.
Debra Smith is an Accountant for Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory of Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia. She has been with Altmeyer’s since October 1997. Deb is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania and a 2007 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University earning her Masters degree.
Deb is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio. She serves as a confirmation teacher and Eucharist Minister.
Becky Kinney is an Accountant for Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory of West Virginia, Virginia and Ohio. She has been a faithful employee since 2001. Becky earned an Associates degree from Belmont Technical College. She graduated from Wheeling Jesuit University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Becky is a member of the Stone Presbyterian Church, Bell Choir and Outreach Committee. She is also a member of the Fred Link III Memorial fund which provides financial assistance to students in the Bridgeport, Ohio school district.
John (Jack) E. Fahey
Jack Fahey is a Funeral Attendant for the West Virginia chapels of Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory. He is a former Yardmaster for the B&O Railroad where he retired from in 1987.
Jack has been, and still is, a very active member of the Wheeling community. He was elected to City Council in 1971 and re-elected in 1975. He is former Mayor of Wheeling and former Ohio County Commisioner. He served on the House of Delegates from 2000-2002. Jack was past State President of County Elected Officials, past State President of County Commissioners, past Board Member of the National Association of Counties, past Regional Jail and Prison Authority Board Member, past President of Ohio County Board of Health, past member of the Wheeling Hall of Fame Board of Directors, past President of the Wheeling Serra Club, past President of St. Joseph Cathedral Holy Name, past President of the CCHS Boosters and former member of the CCHS School Board.
Currently, Jack is a member of the National Heritage Commision Board of Directors, Board Member of West Virginians for Life, Knights of Columbus 4th degree, Knights of Columbus 3rd degree, St. Michael Holy Name Society, Italian American Club, Elm Grove Civics, Wheeling Elks BPOE #28, Fraternal Order of Police Associates and a Lifetime member of the Kain Club.
Jack has been honored as Chiefton of the 1st Ohio Valley Celtic Celebration. He has also been honored as Man of the Year by the East Ohio Chapter of the Ancient Order of Hebernians and the Wheeling Womens Club.
Jack is a lifelong resident of Wheeling where he resides with his wife Catherine Flading Fahey.
Robert L. Dierkes
Assistant Funeral Director/Purchasing Agent
Bob Dierkes is an Assistant Funeral Director and Purchasing Agent for the Altmeyer Funeral Homes in Ohio and Marshall Counties. He graduated from Wheeling Central Catholic High School and attended West Liberty State College.
Bob is a member of the Iola Club, Cave Club, and Our Lady of Peace Church. He is also a season ticket holder for the Wheeling Nailers Hockey Team and a Veteran of the US Army Reserves.
Bob is a lifelong resident of Wheeling, residing in the Mt. Olivet area with his wife, Nancy. He enjoys bowling and spending time with his 2 young grandchildren.

Bill Bonenberger has been a Funeral Attendant with Altmeyer Funeral Homes since 1989. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from West Liberty State College. He worked in sales for 65 years, retiring from Westinghouse Corporation.
Bill is a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is a lifelong resident of Wheeling, residing in the Woodsdale area with his wife Gerry. Bill enjoys yard work, playing cards and attending local sporting events.
Pat Horan is a Funeral Attendant for the Benwood-McMechen Chapel, serving his community with Altmeyer's since 1992.
Pat is a retired Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service, McMechen, West Virginia. He is a member of St. James Catholic Church where he serves as an Usher, a member of the Holy Name Society, Garibaldi Lodge, and a former member of Knights of Columbus, Moundsville, West Virginia.
Pat is also a retired coach for youth baseball in McMechen where he coached for over 20 years.
Robert E. Henry, Sr.
Bob "Herk" Henry has been a Funeral Attendant with our Wheeling Chapels since1998. Herk is a retired City of Wheeling Policeman, a member of Wheeling City Council. St. Alphonsus Catholic Church where he serves as an Extraordinary Minister, and a volunteer for Wheeling Central Catholic High School.
Herk is a lifelong resident of Wheeling where he resides with his wife Rose. He enjoys bowling, gardening, and attending local sporting events.
Larry (T.R.) Goodwin, Sr.
T.R. Goodwin is a Funeral Assistant and Attendant for all of our West Virginia locations. He has worked part time for the Altmeyer Funeral Home since 2003. He is a graduate of Wheeling High School and received an Associates degree from West Virginia Northern Community College.
T.R. is a member of NAACP, the Masonic Lodge and Bethlehem Apostolic Temple. He is a lifelong resident of Wheeling, residing in North Park with his wife Terri and son Larry, Jr.
Darla Beaver is a hairstylist for the Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel. Darla began her career in the funeral industry in 1969. She is a licensed Hairdresser of the State of West Virginia and also holds a Life Insurance license.
Darla is the Chaplain of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Earl Francis Post Unit 34, Moundsville and is a past Historian of the Unit. She is a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Aerie # 499, Moundsville and the Marshall County Animal Rescue League. Darla is also on the Board of the Marshall County Fair where she serves on the Queen's Pageant Committee and volunteers in various ways everyday of Marshall County Fair week. She is also a member of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce and is past Recording Secretary of the former Marshall County Business and Professional Women's Club of Moundsville.
Darla is a lifelong resident of Moundsville, West Virginia. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Daughter, Son-in-law, two grand-children and two Shetland Sheepdogs. They enjoy camping, where Darla is a member of the Sunset Valley Association. Her other interests are traveling, seeing the country, the beach, photography, crafting Calligraphy cards, gardening, needlework, collecting Disney and Sheltie items and emailing friends.
Terri L. Goodwin
Terri is the administrative assistant for the McCoy-Altmeyer Chapel as well as the Pre-Arrangement department. She graduated from Wheeling Park High School and received an Associate Degree from West Virginia Northern Community College.
Terri is a member of Deborah Temple #125 Elks Club, NAACP, and Bethlehem Apostolic Temple.
She is a lifelong resident of Wheeling, residing in the North Park area with her husband, Larry (TR) and son Larry, Jr.
Terri Galbraith is the Network Administrator for the Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory of West Virginia, Virginia and Ohio. She has been with the Altmeyer Corporation since 2002.
Terri is a graduate of Wheeling Park High School and attended West Virginia Northern Community College.
Terri is a lifelong resident of the Ohio Valley and resides in the Elm Grove area. She has two Daughters, Erika and Kelsie, also residents of the Elm Grove area.
Stacy Rohmann is a part-time funeral attendant and secretary for several of our Wheeling chapels. She is a graduate of Wheeling Park High School and attended West Liberty State College. Stacy previously worked as a Dental Assistant and is currently an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics.
Stacy is a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. She is a life long resident of Wheeling and resides in Bethlehem with her husband and two children. Stacy enjoys volunteering at her childrens school.
Linda Orr is the receptionist and Funeral Assistant for the Wheeling Chapel. Linda has been working with Altmeyer Funeral Homes in various capacities since 1992. She graduated from Warwood High School and West Liberty State College with a BS degree in education specializing in English and Speech. Linda has taught at St. Vincent de Paul School and is a former ESL teacher at Wheeling Jesuit University. She also was a private English tutor for Japanese families who worked at Wheeling Nisshin Steel.
Linda is a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church and the Elm Grove Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 1891.
Linda has been a lifelong resident of the Wheeling area and now resides in Triadelphia with her husband Brady.
Bob Morgan is a Funeral Attendant for the West Virginia Chapels of Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory. He is a graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School. Bob is retired from Wheeling National Bank and also worked for Reichart Furniture Company as a Credit Manager.
Bob is a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church where he serves as a Eucharistic Minister, Usher and Lecturer. He also is a member of Knights of Columbus Council #504, Cave Club, Elm Grove Eagles, Elm Grove Civics and Hibernian Club.
Bob is a life long resident of Wheeling where he resides in Elm Grove with his wife Rita.
Kenneth M. Joseph
Kenny Joseph is a Funeral Attendant for the Wheeling Chapels of Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory. He has been serving the Wheeling community with Altmeyer's since1997. Kenny is a graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, a Korean War Veteran serving in the Army from 1952-1954, and is a retired letter carrier for the United States Postal Service.
Kenney is a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Church where he volunteers for many different church functions and activities.
Kenney is a lifelong resident of Wheeling, residing in Bethlehem with his wife Nancy. He enjoys yard work, spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren's sporting events.
Sean Fahey is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in West Virginia and has been employed with the Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory since 2004. He is a 2007 graduate of West Liberty State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Sean graduated in 2008 from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He is a life long resident of the Wheeling area and currently resides in Bethlehem.

John Bippus is the Maintenance Supervisor for the Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, West Virginia locations. He has been a part of the Altmeyer team since 2003.
John is a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and the Cave Club. He is an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and collector of Steeler memorabilia.
Shari Beiswenger is a hairstylist for the Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, Wheeling Chapels. She has been with Altmeyer's since 1993. Shari is a graduate of Wheeling Park High School and Wheeling Beauty College.
Ruth Moore is a Funeral Attendant for Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel. Before joining Altmeyer Funeral Home, Ruth began her career as a medical receptionist in 1973 at the Glen Dale Professional Building.
Ruth graduated from Mounsville High School in 1948, where she was very active in sports. She is involved with the consolidated MHS Reunion every 5 years as co-chairman for the parade.
Ruth has been a life long member of the First Presbyterian Church of Moundsville serving as a deacon and a session member for many years. When the Marshall County Animal Rescue League was formed in 1977, Ruth was one of the early members and continues to be an active supporter.
Ruth is a life long resident of the Moundsville and Glen Dale area. She enjoys spending her time with her two dogs, Buba, a Golden Retriever, and Golden Gram, a female Labrador.
Ruth Ann McClelland
Ruth Ann McClelland has been a part time secretary for Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lutes & Kirby/Vance Chapel since 2003. Ruth Ann is a former teacher for Marshall County Schools.
Ruth Ann is a graduate of Bishop Donahue High School and West Liberty State College. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. She is a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Moundsville, WV.
Ruth Ann resides in the Moundsville area with her husband, Larry and two sons, Bryan and Danny. She also has a daughter, Lauren Graham who resides in Salem, VA.
Pat Belby has been providing caring service with Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory since 2009.
Pat is a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War; and honor graduate of the U.S. Army Engineer School, Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; and a retired manager with Verizon. He most recently owned and operated an electrical contracting company in Elm Grove.
Pat is a member of St. Vincent dePaul Roman Catholic Church, Elm Grove; the Wheeling Elks Lodge #28; the Cave Club; and the Elm Grove Eagles, Aerie #1891.
Linda Morgan has been a Funeral Attendant with Altmeyer Funeral Homes since early 2012. She graduated from Saint Joseph Academy and from Northern Community College as a surgical Technologist.
Linda retired from Wheeling Hospital in 2008. She is also a retired cake decorator and owner of Linda's Cake decorating.
Linda is an active member of St. Michael Catholic Church and is a lifelong resident of Wheeling, where she resides with her husband Leo. Linda enjoys baking, cooking, playing cards, scrabble and working jigsaw puzzles.
Jim Warsinskey is an alumnus of Linsly Military Institute and Marietta College.
Jim retired from Verizon Communications, after 38 years in various management positions, at multiple locations. He is a U.S. Army veteran, having served from 1965-1967; and a member of the Wheeling Rotary Club.
Jim lives in Bethlehem, with his wife Janie. The have one son and daughter-in-law in Vermont. Jim enjoys woodworking and sports cars.
